Student researchers are central members of CHIP lab, and our lab often recruits new students to join us (though only at specific points during the year). See below for details about each opportunity. Please feel free to reach out to Dr. Cheek with any questions.
CHIP Lab is not currently recruiting undergraduate students, but we will likely recruit new research assistants during the Spring 2027 semester (who would start working in the lab during the Fall 2027 semester). Please check back for application details toward the middle of the Spring 2027 semester.
Dr. Cheek does not plan to review PhD applications during the 2026-2027 cycle.
